North Reading Public Schools-School Finance Center
North Reading Public Schools has partnered with ClearGov, a transparency and benchmarking platform, to launch an infographic-based fiscal dashboard. The new tool provides residents an easy-to-understand, visual breakdown of the district’s finances, as well as insights into the student demographics, staffing, test performance, state aid and more. Information published on this dashboard is based on most recently released data from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and the Department of Revenue (DOR). It includes a Project Page that features the school's proposed, current and archived large capital projects.
The new site also informs visitors as to how the district compares to similar school districts which are selected based on a criteria of similar demographic data as determined by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
