Guidance

There are three school psychologists/guidance counselors in the Middle School Guidance Department: Ms. Skobe who works with students whose last names begin with A-E, Mr. Mattison who works with students whose last names begin with F-Mod and Mrs. Capuano who works with students whose last names begin with Mon-Z.  They can assist students in the many parts of their transition to a new grade, with a schedule change or issue, in dealing with difficult interpersonal situations, and in academic concerns that arise throughout the school year. Students can access their school psychologist by completing a check-in form anytime during the school day. In the case of serious concern, students can go to the guidance office first and the counselors will notify the teacher. We are here to help your children succeed in middle school as they deal with all the social and academic challenges that these years bring.
