Kickoff to Kindergarten

Hood School Social- The J. T. Hood School invites all incoming Kindergartners and their Parents to attend a School Social on August 30th from 2:30-3:30pm. Please note that the school building will not be open, but that this is a great opportunity for the children to meet one another and their teachers. The School Social will be held on the hot-top by the playground. We hope to see you then! We will have drinks and slush for all attendees.

Having a hard time sending your little one off to Kindergarten? Excited about the thought of all the friends she/he will make and the lessons to be learned? Come meet our school psychologist, Dr. Mansfield, our principal, Mr. McKay and our reading specialist, Ms. Hegarty and some other kindergarten parents for a brief introduction to our school community.
