The Kindergarten Welcome Social!
In the past this event has been “The Kindergarten Popsicle Social” and last year the event didn’t take place at all. Teachers, staff and families missed this event so we did all that we could to bring it back this year, and even though it looks a little bit different, it is going to be a blast!
Details:
WHO: J.T. Hood registered kindergarten students & 1 parent only
*additional siblings and family members can not attend this event to keep numbers in control*
WHEN: Wednesday September 1st, 2021 from 2:30-3:30 pm
WHERE: JT Hood School playground & blacktop area
WHAT: a meet & greet for new students, parents and teachers through 4 center-like activities
WHY: it gives students an opportunity to meet new friends prior to the first day of Orientation and school
What to do next:
Check your calendar and see if your child is available attend
If you can attend, please fill out the form attached and submit by Tuesday August 31st
If you can not attend, don’t worry about it, we will see you at your Orientation appointments on Wed 9/8 or Thurs 9/9
