Winter is Coming

Dear Parents:

With winter fast approaching, there are some reminders concerning winter clothes. As you are aware we have changed several procedures that will cause the students to be outside more than in past years. This makes wearing winter friendly clothing a topic of increased focus. 

Student arrival and dismissal are both staged outside.

Students and classrooms may take mask breaks (distanced) outside.

Physical Education. Mr. Quinlan notes “I want to remind you to send your students dressed appropriately to go outside. My priority is to get outside and let the students move around as much as possible. Please plan on having your students go outside on PE Days which will mean they should be wearing winter coats, gloves and hats.” 

Recess is outside when possible.

Please dress your child in appropriate clothing once the temperatures drop.  This means:

-a winter coat

-a winter hat

-winter mittens or gloves

Parent Tip-Please make sure your child’s name is on all items.
