Kindergarten Screening Signup

Dear Incoming Kindergarten Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to have your child(ren) join us in September for the 2024 - 2025 school year.  You may recall at the “Getting Ready for Kindergarten” presentation in January, we spoke to you about a few important dates and activities for our new students.

On May 29 and May 30, we will be conducting kindergarten screenings for all students registered to attend the Batchelder School for the new school year.   This is a 20-minute appointment for your child who will be working with members of our professional faculty as they participate in several screening activities.

We have set up an electronic registration to facilitate the scheduling process.

Once you get to this website, very clear directions will be given to you with each click of your mouse.

If you don't have Internet access, we ask that you call our main office at 978-664-7814 to schedule your appointment.   

These appointments will be conducted in person on our campus.  Please be prompt, as these appointments have been scheduled in close succession.  The results of the screening will be sent via email over the summer.   

In early August, you will receive a letter informing you of your child’s teacher, classroom, and orientation appointment on September 5 or 6.  The orientation is an opportunity for you and your child(ren) to familiarize yourselves with the classroom, our school, and their teacher.   

The first day of kindergarten is scheduled for Monday, September 9, 2024.
